西魏
西魏 (Western Wei) was a short-lived dynasty in Chinese history that existed from 535 to 557 AD. It emerged during the period of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, following the decline of the Northern Zhou. The dynasty was established by the Yuan clan, who were originally part of the Xianbei nomadic tribes.
The capital of 西魏 was located in Chang'an, which is present-day Xi'an. The dynasty is known for its military campaigns and efforts to consolidate power in northern China. Despite its brief existence, 西魏 laid the groundwork for the later Northern Zhou dynasty, which succeeded it.
