文化庁
文化庁 (Bunkachō), or the Agency for Cultural Affairs, is a Japanese government agency under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Established in 1950, its primary role is to promote and preserve Japan's cultural heritage, including traditional arts, literature, and historical sites.
The agency also supports various cultural initiatives, such as the promotion of Japanese language and literature, and the protection of intangible cultural assets. Through grants and programs, 文化庁 aims to enhance public access to culture and foster appreciation for Japan's rich cultural diversity.
