忽必烈汗
忽必烈汗 (Kublai Khan) was the grandson of 成吉思汗 (Genghis Khan) and the founder of the 元朝 (Yuan Dynasty) in China. He ruled from 1260 to 1294 and is known for unifying China under Mongol rule. Kublai Khan promoted trade and cultural exchange along the 丝绸之路 (Silk Road), which helped to connect East and West.
Kublai Khan's reign marked a significant period in Chinese history, as he adopted many aspects of Chinese governance and culture. He established 大都 (Dadu), now known as Beijing, as the capital of his empire. His leadership contributed to the flourishing of arts and sciences during the Yuan Dynasty.
