孔子
孔子 (Kǒngzǐ), known as Confucius in the West, was a Chinese philosopher and educator who lived from 551 to 479 BCE. He is best known for his teachings on morality, ethics, and proper social relationships, which laid the foundation for Confucianism. His ideas emphasized the importance of family, respect for elders, and the value of education.
孔子 traveled throughout China to share his philosophy and gather disciples. His thoughts were compiled in the Analects, a collection of sayings and ideas attributed to him and his followers. Today, his teachings continue to influence Chinese culture and education, as well as various aspects of East Asian societies.
