天坛
天坛, or the Temple of Heaven, is a historic site located in Beijing, China. Built in the early 15th century during the Ming Dynasty, it served as a place for emperors to pray for good harvests. The complex is known for its stunning architecture and beautiful gardens.
The main structure, the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, is a circular building symbolizing heaven. The entire site covers about 273 hectares and is surrounded by a large park, making it a popular destination for both tourists and locals. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998.
