国民派
"国民派" (Nationalist faction) refers to a political group in China that emerged during the early 20th century, primarily associated with the Kuomintang (KMT) party. This faction aimed to promote nationalism, modernize China, and resist foreign influence, particularly during the tumultuous period following the fall of the Qing Dynasty.
The 国民派 played a significant role in the Chinese Civil War, opposing the Communist Party of China (CPC). Their efforts were focused on establishing a unified and sovereign nation, but internal conflicts and external pressures ultimately led to their retreat to Taiwan after the civil war concluded in 1949.
