南越
南越, or "Nanyue," was an ancient kingdom that existed from 204 BC to 111 BC in what is now southern China and northern Vietnam. It was established by the general Zhao Tuo after the fall of the Qin Dynasty. The kingdom was known for its rich culture, trade, and interactions with neighboring regions.
The capital of 南越 was Panyu, located near present-day Guangzhou. The kingdom played a significant role in the spread of Chinese culture and influenced the development of Vietnamese civilization. It was eventually conquered by the Han Dynasty, leading to the integration of its territory into the expanding Chinese empire.
