گیلگمش
گیلگمش is an ancient Mesopotamian epic poem that follows the adventures of Gilgamesh, the king of Uruk. The story explores themes of friendship, mortality, and the quest for immortality, as Gilgamesh embarks on a journey with his friend Enkidu after the death of Enkidu.
The epic is one of the earliest known works of literature, dating back to around 2100 BCE. It consists of twelve tablets written in cuneiform script and is considered a significant cultural artifact that provides insight into the beliefs and values of ancient Sumerian society.
