فتح مكة
فتح مكة, or the "Conquest of Mecca," occurred in 630 CE when the Prophet Muhammad and his followers peacefully entered the city of Mecca. This event marked a significant turning point in Islamic history, as it led to the establishment of Islam as a dominant faith in the Arabian Peninsula. The Muslims aimed to reclaim the Kaaba, a sacred site, and to eliminate the idols that had been placed there.
The conquest was largely bloodless, with minimal resistance from the Quraysh tribe, who had previously opposed Muhammad. Following the conquest, Muhammad granted amnesty to many of his former enemies, promoting unity among the tribes of Arabia and solidifying the influence of Islam in the region.
