Менкаура
Менкаура, also known as Mykerinos, was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty during the Old Kingdom. He is best known for commissioning the third largest pyramid at Giza, which is part of the famous Giza pyramid complex. His reign is estimated to have occurred around 2510–2480 BCE.
The pyramid of Менкаура is notable for its smaller size compared to the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre, but it is distinguished by its use of granite in the lower courses. Menkaura's mortuary temple and the surrounding complex also featured impressive statues and artifacts, reflecting the artistic achievements of ancient Egypt.
