Κλεοπάτρα VII, commonly known as Cleopatra, was the last active ruler of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt. She was born in 69 BC and became queen at the age of 18. Cleopatra is famous for her intelligence, political acumen, and her relationships with powerful Roman leaders, including Julius Caesar and Mark Antony.
Her reign marked a significant period in Egyptian history, as she sought to restore Egypt's power and influence. Cleopatra was known for her efforts to maintain Egypt's independence amid the growing power of Rome. She died in 30 BC, leading to the end of the Ptolemaic dynasty and Egypt becoming a Roman province.
