Ζhu Yuanzhang
Ζhu Yuanzhang was the founder of the Ming Dynasty in China, reigning from 1368 to 1398. Born into a poor peasant family, he became a monk before joining a rebel group to fight against the Yuan Dynasty, which was ruled by the Mongols. His leadership and military skills helped him rise through the ranks, eventually leading to the overthrow of the Yuan.
After establishing the Ming Dynasty, Ζhu Yuanzhang took the title of Emperor Hongwu. He implemented significant reforms, including land redistribution and the promotion of Confucianism. His reign marked a period of stability and prosperity in China, laying the foundation for future developments.
