捷克斯洛伐克, known as Czechoslovakia in English, was a country in Central Europe that existed from 1918 until its peaceful split into two separate nations, Czech Republic and Slovakia, in 1993. It was formed after World War I, combining the regions of Bohemia, Moravia, and Slovakia.
The country had a rich cultural heritage and was known for its contributions to art, music, and literature. Major cities included Prague, the capital, and Bratislava. Throughout its history, Czechoslovakia experienced significant political changes, including periods of democracy and communist rule.
