underwater hockey
Underwater hockey, also known as Octopush, is a team sport played on the bottom of a swimming pool. Two teams, typically consisting of six players each, use small sticks to push a weighted puck into the opposing team's goal. Players wear snorkeling gear, including masks, snorkels, and fins, allowing them to move efficiently underwater.
The game is played in two halves, usually lasting 10 to 15 minutes each. Players must frequently surface for air, making stamina and strategy essential. Underwater hockey is governed by the World Underwater Federation and is played in many countries around the world.
