red-billed tropicbird
The red-billed tropicbird is a striking seabird known for its long, slender tail feathers and bright red bill. It typically inhabits tropical and subtropical oceanic regions, often nesting on remote islands. These birds are excellent fliers, using their wings to glide gracefully over the water in search of fish, which they catch by diving.
Red-billed tropicbirds are primarily white with black wing tips and a distinctive black line running from their eyes to the back of their heads. They are social birds, often seen in pairs or small groups, and are known for their elaborate courtship displays during the breeding season.
