Tropicbirds
Tropicbirds are striking seabirds belonging to the family Phaethontidae. They are known for their long, elegant tail feathers and bright plumage, which often includes shades of white, black, and red. These birds are typically found in tropical and subtropical regions, nesting on cliffs or sandy beaches.
There are three main species of tropicbirds: the Red-billed Tropicbird, the White-tailed Tropicbird, and the Yellow-billed Tropicbird. They primarily feed on fish and squid, which they catch by diving into the water. Tropicbirds are also known for their graceful flight and are often seen gliding over the ocean.
