The gold mask of Tutankhamun is a famous ancient Egyptian artifact discovered in 1922 by archaeologist Howard Carter. Made of gold and inlaid with precious stones, the mask was designed to cover the face of the young pharaoh, who ruled during the 18th dynasty. It measures about 54 centimeters tall and weighs approximately 11 kilograms. This exquisite mask symbolizes the wealth and artistry of ancient Egypt.
