cotton farming
Cotton farming involves the cultivation of the cotton plant, which produces fluffy fibers used to make textiles. Farmers typically plant cotton seeds in warm, sunny weather, and the plants require well-drained soil and adequate water. The growing season lasts about five months, during which the plants bloom and produce cotton bolls.
Once the bolls are mature, they burst open, revealing the white fibers inside. Farmers then harvest the cotton, often using machines to pick the bolls efficiently. After harvesting, the cotton is ginned to separate the fibers from the seeds, preparing it for processing into fabric and other products.
