brain anatomy
The human brain is a complex organ divided into several key parts. The largest part is the cerebrum, responsible for higher functions like thinking, memory, and movement. It is divided into two hemispheres, each containing four lobes: the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, and occipital lobe.
Beneath the cerebrum lies the cerebellum, which coordinates balance and fine motor skills. The brainstem connects the brain to the spinal cord and controls vital functions such as breathing and heart rate. Together, these structures enable the brain to manage both complex and basic bodily functions.
