bidi
A bidi is a traditional Indian cigarette made from a hand-rolled leaf, typically wrapped in a tendu or temburni leaf. It is filled with a blend of tobacco and sometimes flavored with various spices or herbs. Bidis are often less expensive than regular cigarettes and are popular in many regions of India and Southeast Asia.
Bidis are usually smaller and thinner than conventional cigarettes, leading to a different smoking experience. They are often associated with lower production costs and are commonly sold in small packets. However, despite their lower price, bidis can pose significant health risks similar to those of regular tobacco products, including lung cancer and heart disease.
