Zulu King
The term "Zulu King" refers to the monarch of the Zulu Nation, a prominent ethnic group in South Africa. The Zulu Kingdom was established in the early 19th century under the leadership of King Shaka, who is known for unifying various tribes and creating a powerful military state. The Zulu King traditionally holds a significant cultural and political role within the community.
Today, the current Zulu King is Misuzulu KaZwelithini, who ascended to the throne in 2021 following the death of his father, King Goodwill Zwelithini. The Zulu monarchy continues to play an important role in preserving Zulu culture and traditions, while also engaging with contemporary issues facing the Zulu people.
