Zubizuri
The Zubizuri, also known as the "White Bridge," is a pedestrian bridge located in Bilbao, Spain. Designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava, it was inaugurated in 1997. The bridge features a unique curved design and is made of white steel, providing a striking contrast against the surrounding urban landscape.
Connecting the neighborhoods of Abando and Bilbao La Vieja, the Zubizuri spans the Nervión River. It serves as an important walkway for pedestrians, offering scenic views of the city. The bridge is not only functional but also a notable piece of modern architecture in the region.
