Zorig Sanjaajav
Zorig Sanjaajav was a prominent Mongolian politician and activist known for his role in the country's democratic movement during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was a key figure in the peaceful protests that led to the end of communist rule in Mongolia, advocating for political reform and human rights.
Born on March 3, 1962, Zorig was educated in both Mongolia and abroad. He became the first Minister of Infrastructure in the newly democratic government and was instrumental in shaping Mongolia's transition to a market economy. Tragically, he was assassinated in 1998, a loss that deeply affected the nation.
