Zainab bint Ali
Zainab bint Ali was the daughter of Ali ibn Abi Talib and Fatimah, making her the granddaughter of the Prophet Muhammad. Born in Medina in 626 CE, she is known for her strong character and eloquence. Zainab played a significant role in the early Islamic community and is revered for her leadership and resilience.
She is particularly remembered for her bravery during the Battle of Karbala in 680 CE, where her brother, Husayn ibn Ali, was martyred. After the battle, Zainab courageously spoke out against the injustices faced by her family and the followers of Ahl al-Bayt, becoming a symbol of strength and resistance in Islamic history.
