ZX80
The ZX80 is a home computer released by Sinclair Research in 1980. It was one of the first affordable personal computers, aimed at hobbyists and beginners. The ZX80 featured a simple design, a membrane keyboard, and a 1 MHz processor, allowing users to write and run basic programs in the BASIC programming language.
With only 1 KB of RAM, the ZX80 could be expanded to 16 KB, making it suitable for simple tasks and learning programming. Its compact size and low price helped popularize computing in the UK, paving the way for future models like the ZX81 and ZX Spectrum.
