Sinclair Research
Sinclair Research is a British company founded in 1978 by Sir Clive Sinclair. It is best known for developing innovative personal computers and consumer electronics, particularly during the 1980s. The company's most famous products include the ZX Spectrum, a popular home computer that contributed significantly to the early gaming and computing culture in the UK.
In addition to computers, Sinclair Research also ventured into other technologies, such as the Sinclair C5, an electric vehicle launched in 1985. Although the C5 was not commercially successful, it showcased Sinclair's commitment to pioneering new ideas in technology and transportation.
