Yogācāra
Yogācāra is a school of Buddhist philosophy that emerged in India around the 4th century CE. It emphasizes the role of consciousness in shaping our experiences and understanding of reality. Yogācāra teaches that the external world is a projection of the mind, suggesting that our perceptions are influenced by our thoughts and emotions.
Central to Yogācāra is the concept of vijñapti-mātra, or "only consciousness," which posits that all phenomena are manifestations of consciousness. This school also explores the nature of the mind and the process of perception, aiming to help practitioners achieve enlightenment by transforming their understanding of reality and overcoming ignorance.
