YSR Congress Party
The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is a regional political party in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Founded in 2011 by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the party emerged after the death of his father, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, a former Chief Minister. YSRCP primarily focuses on welfare programs and development initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the people in the state.
The party gained significant popularity in the 2019 state elections, winning a majority in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. YSRCP's policies often emphasize social justice, economic growth, and the empowerment of marginalized communities, reflecting the legacy of its founder, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
