Jagan Mohan Reddy is an Indian politician and the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He was born on December 21, 1972, and is the son of the late Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, a former Chief Minister of the state. Jagan, as he is commonly known, founded the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) in 2011, focusing on welfare programs and development for the people of Andhra Pradesh.
