YSR Congress
The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is a regional political party in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Founded in 2011 by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the party emerged after the death of his father, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, a former Chief Minister. YSRCP primarily focuses on welfare programs and development initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the people in the state.
The party gained significant popularity in the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections, winning a majority of seats. YSRCP's policies often emphasize social justice, economic development, and the empowerment of marginalized communities, reflecting the legacy of its founder.
