Xueshan Peak
Xueshan Peak, also known as Snow Mountain, is the second-highest mountain in Taiwan, standing at 3,886 meters (12,749 feet) above sea level. It is part of the Yushan Range and is renowned for its stunning alpine scenery, diverse ecosystems, and rich flora and fauna. The peak is a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts.
The mountain is often covered in snow during winter, which contributes to its name. Xueshan Peak is also home to various wildlife, including the endangered Formosan black bear. The area surrounding the peak features numerous trails, making it accessible for both experienced climbers and casual walkers.
