Xin Qiji
Xin Qiji was a prominent Chinese poet and military general during the Southern Song Dynasty. Born in 1140, he is best known for his contributions to the ci poetry form, which combines lyrical expression with musicality. His works often reflect themes of patriotism, love, and the struggles of his time, particularly the challenges faced by the Song dynasty against the Jin Dynasty.
