Wang Anshi
Wang Anshi was a prominent Chinese statesman, poet, and philosopher during the Song Dynasty, born in 1021. He is best known for his reforms aimed at strengthening the economy and military of China. His policies, known as the New Policies, included tax reforms, state control of grain supplies, and improvements in education.
