Wulfstan
Wulfstan was an influential Anglo-Saxon bishop who served as the Bishop of Worcester and later as the Bishop of London during the late 10th and early 11th centuries. He is best known for his sermons and writings, which provide valuable insights into the religious and social issues of his time. Wulfstan's works often addressed moral behavior and the responsibilities of rulers, reflecting the concerns of the Anglo-Saxon church.
His most famous sermon, known as the "Sermo Lupi ad Anglos," urged the English people to repent and return to God in the face of Viking invasions. Wulfstan's contributions to Anglo-Saxon literature and Christian theology have made him a significant figure in the study of early medieval England.
