Wu Kingdom
The Wu Kingdom was one of the three major states during the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China, which lasted from 220 to 280 AD. It was located in the southeastern region, primarily in what is now Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. The kingdom was founded by Sun Quan, who established a strong naval power and a prosperous economy based on agriculture and trade.
The Wu Kingdom is known for its military strategies and notable figures, including the famous general Zhou Yu. It played a significant role in the power struggles against the Wei and Shu kingdoms. The kingdom eventually fell to the Jin Dynasty in 280 AD, marking the end of the Three Kingdoms era.
