Window Components
Window components are the various parts that make up a window, contributing to its functionality and aesthetics. Key components include the frame, which provides structural support; the sash, which holds the glass panes; and the glazing, or glass itself, which allows light to enter while providing insulation.
Other important elements are the window sill, which helps direct water away from the building, and the hardware, such as locks and hinges, that enable the window to open and close. Together, these components work to enhance energy efficiency, security, and overall performance of the window.
