William Mitford
William Mitford (1744–1827) was an English historian and writer, best known for his work on ancient Greece. He authored "The History of Greece," which provided a detailed account of Greek history from its earliest days to the Roman conquest. Mitford's writing style was engaging, making complex historical events accessible to a wider audience.
