Wilhelmine of Baden
Wilhelmine of Baden was born on July 7, 1788, in Karlsruhe, Germany. She was a member of the House of Zähringen and the daughter of Charles Frederick, Grand Duke of Baden. In 1806, she married Prince William of Prussia, later known as King William I of Prussia, which strengthened ties between Baden and Prussia.
As a queen consort, Wilhelmine played a significant role in the cultural and social life of the Prussian court. She was known for her charitable work and support of the arts, contributing to the development of Berlin during her husband's reign. Wilhelmine passed away on February 27, 1836.
