West Indies Cricket Board
The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), now known as Cricket West Indies, is the governing body for cricket in the Caribbean. Established in 1923, it oversees the organization and promotion of cricket across the West Indies region, which includes countries like Jamaica, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago. The board is responsible for managing national teams and organizing domestic competitions.
The WICB is affiliated with the International Cricket Council (ICC) and plays a crucial role in the development of cricket in the region. It aims to enhance the performance of the West Indies national cricket team and support grassroots initiatives to grow the sport among young players.
