Wenceslas II
Wenceslas II was a king of Bohemia and Poland, born in 1271 and ruling from 1291 until his death in 1305. He was a member of the Přemyslid dynasty and is known for his efforts to strengthen the power of the monarchy and expand his territories. His reign was marked by economic growth and the establishment of Prague as a significant cultural center.
Wenceslas II also became the king of Poland in 1300, although his rule there was short-lived. He faced challenges from local nobility and external threats, which complicated his reign. Despite these difficulties, he is remembered for his contributions to the development of the region and the promotion of trade.
