Welsh Assembly
The Welsh Assembly, officially known as the Senedd, is the devolved parliament of Wales. It was established in 1999 to give the people of Wales a greater say in their governance. The Assembly has the power to make decisions on various issues, including health, education, and local government.
The Welsh Assembly consists of 60 Members of the Senedd (MSs) who are elected every five years. It operates from the Senedd building in Cardiff, where MSs debate and pass legislation. The Assembly plays a crucial role in representing the interests of the Welsh people and promoting the Welsh language and culture.
