Wat Phra Si Sanphet
Wat Phra Si Sanphet is a historic temple located in Ayutthaya, Thailand. Built in the 15th century, it served as the royal temple of the Ayutthaya Kingdom and was part of the grand palace complex. The temple is renowned for its impressive three large chedis, which are burial sites for three kings of the kingdom.
The temple was an important center for religious and royal ceremonies. Although it was heavily damaged during the Burmese invasion in 1767, its ruins remain a significant symbol of Thailand's rich cultural heritage and attract many visitors interested in history and architecture.
