Wasim Akram
Wasim Akram is a former Pakistani cricketer, widely regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers in the history of the sport. Born on June 3, 1966, in Lahore, Pakistan, he made his international debut in 1984 and played until 2003. Akram was known for his exceptional swing bowling and ability to bowl at high speeds, making him a key player for the Pakistan national cricket team.
Throughout his career, Akram took over 900 international wickets, including 916 in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 416 in Test matches. He played a crucial role in leading Pakistan to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup. After retiring, Akram became a cricket commentator and coach, sharing his expertise with future generations.
