Waqar Younis
Waqar Younis is a former Pakistani cricketer, widely regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers in the history of the sport. Born on November 16, 1971, in Wazirabad, Pakistan, he made his international debut in 1989. Known for his exceptional swing bowling and ability to generate pace, Waqar formed a formidable bowling partnership with Wasim Akram, leading Pakistan to numerous victories.
Throughout his career, Waqar took over 400 wickets in both One Day Internationals and Test matches. He played a crucial role in Pakistan's triumph in the 1992 Cricket World Cup. After retiring from international cricket, he transitioned into coaching, contributing to the development of future generations of cricketers.
