Wallisian
Wallisian is a Polynesian language spoken primarily in the Wallis and Futuna islands, a French overseas territory in the South Pacific. It is one of the two official languages of the territory, alongside Futunan. Wallisian is part of the larger Austronesian language family and is closely related to other Polynesian languages.
The language has a rich oral tradition and is used in daily communication among the local population. Wallisian features a unique phonetic system and vocabulary that reflects the culture and environment of the islands. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote the language, especially among younger generations.
