Walking Reflex
The "Walking Reflex" is a natural instinct seen in infants, typically appearing around two months of age. When a baby is held upright with their feet touching a flat surface, they will instinctively move their legs in a walking motion. This reflex is part of a group of automatic responses that help infants prepare for future voluntary movements.
This reflex is not the same as actual walking, which develops later as a child gains strength and coordination. The walking reflex is an important milestone in a baby's motor development, indicating that their nervous system is maturing and that they are beginning to explore their environment.
