Wagtails
Wagtails are small, agile birds belonging to the family Motacillidae. They are known for their distinctive long tails, which they often wag up and down as they move. Wagtails are commonly found near water bodies, such as rivers and ponds, where they hunt for insects and other small invertebrates.
There are several species of wagtails, including the Pied Wagtail and the Yellow Wagtail. These birds are typically characterized by their slender bodies, pointed wings, and vibrant plumage. Wagtails are also known for their cheerful songs and are often seen foraging on the ground or along the water's edge.
