Vyāsa
Vyāsa is a revered sage in Hindu tradition, known primarily for his role in compiling and organizing the ancient texts of the Vedas. He is often credited with writing the Mahabharata, one of the longest epic poems in the world, which includes the Bhagavad Gita. Vyāsa is considered a central figure in the development of Indian philosophy and spirituality.
In addition to his literary contributions, Vyāsa is also recognized as one of the seven Chiranjivi, or immortals, in Hindu belief. He is often depicted as a wise sage with a long beard, symbolizing knowledge and wisdom. His teachings continue to influence various aspects of Indian culture and religion.
