Voyager program
The Voyager program consists of two space probes, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, launched by NASA in 1977. Their primary mission was to explore the outer planets of our solar system, including Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Both spacecraft provided valuable data and stunning images, significantly enhancing our understanding of these distant worlds.
After completing their primary missions, the Voyager probes continued into interstellar space, making them the farthest human-made objects from Earth. They are now sending back data about cosmic rays and magnetic fields, contributing to our knowledge of the heliosphere and the environment beyond our solar system.
