Voskhod 1
Voskhod 1 was a Soviet space mission launched on October 12, 1964. It was notable for being the first spacecraft to carry a multi-person crew into orbit, consisting of three cosmonauts: Viktor Patsayev, Georgy Dobrovolski, and Viktor Volkov. The mission lasted about 24 hours and completed 16 orbits around the Earth.
The spacecraft was an upgraded version of the Vostok capsule, designed to accommodate more crew members. Voskhod 1 also marked the first time that cosmonauts flew without spacesuits, which was a significant departure from previous missions.
